The Los Angeles Lazers will play host to the Tacoma Stars in a Major Indoor Soccer League game at 7:30 tonight at the Forum.

Currently in last place in the Western Division, the Lazers (3-8) will try to break a two-game losing streak with a victory over the Stars (7-5)

After beating last season’s champion San Diego Sockers, 4-3, in overtime on Dec. 4, the Lazers lost last week to the Eastern Division-leading Minnesota Strikers, 3-2, and to the Western Division-leading Wichita Wings, 8-3.

The Lazers are led by forward Poli Garcia with six goals and seven assists, and defender Gus Mokalis with five goals and six assists. Forward Willie Molano tops the team in goals with nine. Goalie Tim Harris is ranked ninth in the league with a 4.08 goals-against average.
