Torrance : Moratorium Extended

The 45-day moratorium on new permits for the sale of alcoholic beverages for off-site consumption has been extended for another 45 days. City staff requested more time to complete a study on the number of such establishments and their effect on crime in the city.
The moratorium was to expire Dec. 27. The new expiration date is Feb. 10.
