One person was killed and three injured when two cars, one reportedly stolen, collided at a Huntington Beach intersection, police reported. Sgt. Ron Jenkins said the driver of a car headed south on Newland Street was pronounced dead at the scene of the 4:30 a.m. accident at the intersection of Atlanta Avenue. Jenkins said the driver of the vehicle headed east on Atlanta was hospitalized in critical condition, as were two passengers in the car. That auto was reported stolen a month ago in Costa Mesa, police said. No identities were released pending notification of relatives, and no charges were immediately filed, Jenkins said.
