Bergen Brunswig completes acquisition.

The Orange-based company purchased Berry Wholesale Drug Co. of Antioch, Tenn., for an undisclosed amount of cash. Berry is a medical supplier in Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama and has annual sales of about $50 million. Bergen Brunswig is a national distributor of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, videocassettes and consumer electronic products. For its fiscal first quarter ended Nov. 30, the company reported revenue of $760.3 million, up 54% from $492.5 million for the same period a year earlier.
