An Alabama company bought Pozzo Construction.

Blount Inc. of Montgomery did not reveal the price that it paid for Los Angeles-based Pozzo Construction. Pozzo will become a subsidiary of Blount’s construction and engineering group. The purchase of Pozzo gives Blount an immediate presence in Southern California, one of the nation’s largest construction markets, said Winton M. Blount, senior vice president of Blount and chairman of its construction and engineering group.
