Chingaderos Is Winner of El Premero

Chingaderos, ridden by Bobby Don Harmon, won the $308,000 El Premero Del Ano Derby at Los Alamitos Race Course Saturday night in a time of 19.99 seconds.

Chingaderos went into the race a 3-5 favorite and had an easy time winning. The horse, trained by John Cooper, broke clean from the starting gate and led throughout. The winner’s purse was $130,284.

Chingaderos paid $3.40, 2.60 and 2.40. Second-place Streakin Dash $3.40 and 2.60. Third-place Bolino paid $3.00.
