Cal State Fullerton Beats Temple in Wrestling

Cal State Fullerton beat Temple University, 26-21, in nonconference wrestling Sunday at Fullerton.

Frank Trujillo (20-3) gave the Titans a 5-0 lead by beating Adam Goldstein, 13-1, in the 121-pound division.

Fullerton heavyweight Bob Button (215 pounds) beat Eric Coss (265 pounds), 4-1, and the Titans’ 134-pounder, Dondi Teran, won on a forfeit to improve his record to 21-4.

Fullerton (5-1) will play host to the eight-team Southern California duals tournament next Sunday.
