“Kooky Classics.” MGM/UA. $29.95. Shari Lewis’ delightful puppetry may have gone out of style for children’s programming on commercial TV, but certainly not for children. She and her hand-manipulated friends, Lamb Chop, Hush Puppy and Charley Horse, are still as charming and as funny as when they first began appearing on TV 30 years ago. Though poorly structured, this 54-minute tape made with the South Coast Symphony showcases Lewis’ ability as a ventriloquist in a series of sketches that marry classical music by Chopin, Brahms, Bizet and Mozart with comical lyrics.
