Former TCU running back Kenneth Davis says he got a deal worth $38,000 to attend the Southwest Conference school but was the lowest paid of seven players suspended from the team for accepting money.
Davis, in an interview with the Sun Herald of Biloxi-Gulfport, Tex., said: “Before I was kicked off the team, I probably received about $32,000. I have a lot of it left, but not in money. It’s all material stuff.”
