Sea World’s Baby Whale Dies

SAN DIEGO —
A 10-day-old killer whale calf named Baby Shamu II died today at Sea World, a spokeswoman said. The calf, born Jan. 5 at the aquatic park, developed respiratory problems Wednesday afternoon and died at about 9:30 a.m. today, spokeswoman Jackie Hill said.
