The raincoat folds into a small envelope and was “not made of shower-curtain material.” Can you help before it rains on Tierstein’s parade, or will she begin to wonder whether she’s all wet in her search?

Shari Plattner of Long Beach is unable to find an electronic backgammon game ; it’s the one present her husband wanted for Christmas, but it was no dice in all the stores she investigated. Toby Horn of Los Angeles, who was in the same pickle recently, provides the following names: Plastic King, (213) 937-2690; Royal Chair Furniture, (213) 385-3129; Finlay’s Slipcovers, (213) 274-6093; Gold Medal, (818) 987-2758, and Cover Craft, (213) 877-0383.
