Capt. Robert B. Taylor, a 21-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department, is the new commanding officer of the Hollywood Division.

Taylor, 43, replaced Lawrence E. Fetters, also 43, who has been promoted to commander and assigned to the Police Department’s support services bureau downtown.

Before his Hollywood assignment, Taylor was commanding officer of the Northeast Division and, before that, commanding officer of the department’s Juvenile Division.
