Proper Name for City of Angels

Kraim complains that no other city uses its initials. So what? Since when is originality a crime?
Los Angeles is a unique place in many ways--an original means of expression for our city is very appropriate. It represents a casual society that’s not hung up on labels.
Kraim claims that the name L.A. reflects a lack of local pride. On the contrary, it shows a pride in our uniqueness, and community spirit in the area that has been called “suburbs in search of a city.” I say--L.A.!
