A 21-year-old San Diego man died Friday when his car went off the road and careened down a canyon.
Edward Tyszka was headed north on North Torrey Pines Road and was apparently attempting to pass another car on the right when he lost control and went off the road, authorities said.
Tyszka was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:20 p.m.
