Calabasas Project Dedicated to Bingham
The formal opening ceremonies of the first phase of the $30-million, 16-acre Malibu Canyon Business Park last week were marked by the dedication of the Calabasas development to the memory of Edwin S. Bingham Jr., an original partner in the project, who died in March, 1984.
Bingham was both a former president of the California Mortgage Bankers Assn. and president of the Ralph C. Sutro Co. The project, adjacent to the Ventura Freeway at Malibu Canyon/Las Virgenes Road, is owned and developed by Calvin H. Johnston.
