The City Council upheld Planning Commission approval for on-site sale of beer and wine and a 504-square-foot addition to Bob’s Big Boy restaurant on Hawthorne Boulevard near 182nd Street. The council, however, overturned the commission’s requirement that access from 182nd Street be eliminated. The council agreed with the Planning Department that closing the access from 182nd could cause traffic problems on Hawthorne.
