Creditors of the Los Angeles Express filed...

Creditors of the Los Angeles Express filed suit seeking $25 million from the United States Football League and its commissioner, Harry Usher.

The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court alleges that league officials sold off assets belonging to the Express and diverted the funds to the league instead of paying creditors.

Attorney James H. Davis said the 59 creditors provided goods and services to the football team but have gone unpaid since last summer.
