Bill Murray, not seen since he bombed in “The Razor’s Edge,” is working again--but shhhhhhhhhhhhhh .

In London’s Pinewood Studios, “The Little Shop of Horrors” production company is shushed about Murray’s cameo in the musical about a plant that consumes humans.

But we’ve learned what’s up. He’ll do the part played by then-unknown Jack Nicholson in Roger Corman’s original “Little Shop” (1960), before the musicalized stage version. He’s the guy who comes into the dentist’s office and is delighted that the dentist doesn’t use pain-killers. (And is happier, still, when all his teeth are pulled.)

See, Murray’s contract forbids a screen credit or any other exploitation of his name. He reportedly worked only two days and is expected to be on screen less than five minutes with Steve Martin, who plays the sadistic dentist Orin.

Director Frank Oz wouldn’t give Outtakes any details but acknowledged, “I never thought Bill would take the part.”
