Irvine’s Rogers Twists Ankle, May Play Thursday
UC Irvine forward Johnny Rogers missed practice Tuesday with a strained ankle but is expected to play when the Anteaters face Utah State Thursday night in Logan, Coach Bill Mulligan said.
Rogers, the Anteaters’ leading rebounder and second-leading scorer, suffered the injury in practice Monday. Mulligan said he hoped Rogers, a senior, will be ready to practice with the team tonight in Logan.
