MARVY MUTT MAKES MAX MEDIA MIX

The Further Adventures of Mike the Dog:

After bowwowing David Hartman and company on “Good Morning America,” Mike winged it back to the Coast to appear at the premiere for his debut film, “Down and Out in Beverly Hills.” The puparazzi could barely contain themselves in front of the theater in Westwood.

On the trip home Mike was relegated to the baggage compartment even though Disney, the “Down and Out” studio, picked up the tab for a ticket in first class. According to Mike’s trainer, Clint Rowe, FAA regulations don’t prohibit pampered pups from buckling up in the first-class compartment but American Airlines has a policy against it. Said Rowe: “It was a little stressful for him but Mike can handle it--he’s done it before.”

Meanwhile, the media blitz continues with print pieces in the New York Times and (coming up) USA Today and Newsweek and small screen shots on “Entertainment Tonight” and Cable News Network. Letterman is calling and Mike is prepping for the Big One--the Carson show. Maybe this week.
