The new flavors are being introduced as Slice soft drinks, which contain 10% fruit juice. Pepsi-Cola bottlers previewed the latest flavors--cherry cola and apple--during their annual convention in San Francisco. The flavors were unveiled less than two weeks after Pepsi rolled out a mandarin orange Slice and rival Coca-Cola announced that it was adding vitamins to its new juice-based Minute Maid orange and lemon-lime sodas. Pepsi-Cola said the cherry cola and apple flavors will come in regular and diet versions, as does its original lemon-lime Slice and the recently introduced mandarin orange flavor.
