Freshman guard Migele Knight sank 6 of 6 free throws in the final minute to give Dayton a 67-65 upset victory over 14th-ranked Notre Dame Wednesday night at Dayton, Ohio.

“It was great to see Migele have such a great game because he’s had trouble,” Dayton Coach Don Donoher said. “But he was tough tonight. He had all the pressure on him.”

Notre Dame Coach Digger Phelps said his team was tired, having played three games in five days, including Tuesday’s victory over Maryland.
