Woman Hurt in Collision: A Laguna Hills woman was reported in serious condition Friday after her car collided with another auto at Moulton Parkway and Calle Cortez on Thursday night. Gail Huston, 53, who sustained major injuries, was in the intensive care unit of Mission Community Hospital in Mission Viejo on Friday. Huston was heading east on Calle Cortez when she attempted to make a left turn onto Moulton in front of a truck, according to Officer Ken Daily, a California Highway Patrol spokesman. Huston drove “right into the path” of the 1968 Ford Bronco driven by Daniel Schaaf, 25, also of Laguna Hills, Daily said. Schaaf sustained minor injuries and was treated at Saddleback Community Hospital.
