Michael Jordan is eager to return to the Chicago Bulls’ lineup this weekend after a 3 1/2-month layoff, but his agent said he thinks the guard should sit out the rest of the season.
“We’ve gone back and forth with him about it, and we’ve been harping with the Bulls’ management too,” David Falk told the Washington Post. “But Michael won’t listen. He’s such a competitor that if he thinks he’s ready to play, then he’s going to play.”
Jordan said earlier he was hoping he could play Friday against the Indiana Pacers or Sunday when the Dallas Mavericks play in Chicago.
But Bull General Manager Jerry Krause said doctors would have the final word on whether Jordan returns this season.
