Ossie Moore Wins Melbourne Golf Event

MELBOURNE, Australia —
Ossie Moore of Australia won the Victorian Open golf tournament by one stroke Sunday. He birdied the 16th and 17th holes to close with a par 72 for an 8-under-par 280.
Tied for second at 281 were Greg Turner of New Zealand and Australian Vaughan Somers. Turner had a 66 Sunday and Somers shot a final-round 75.
