Capo Valley’s Fox Signs With Seattle

SEATTLE —
Outfielder Eric Fox, the Seattle Mariners’ first-round choice in the secondary phase of the amateur free-agent baseball draft, signed Friday with the American League club.
Fox, a 5-foot 10-inch, 180-pound switch hitter from Capistrano Valley High School and Fresno State, batted .316 with 10 home runs and 18 stolen bases last season.
