Water Board Reminder: The Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board has asked its staff to remind businesses that deal with toxic material to notify authorities in the event of a spill. The request for reminder notices was prompted by the spill of 2,000 pounds of chromium into the Chino sewer system last month because of a failure at a sewage treatment plant.
