Women’s Basketball Roundup : Holmes, McGee Lead Fullerton

Robin Holmes scored 18 points Saturday night and Alayna McGee came off the bench to add 15 points as Cal State Fullerton beat Hawaii, 74-69, in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. women’s basketball game at Titan Gym.
Stacy Hunt, a freshman from Riverside Poly, scored a career-high 12 points after coming off the bench.
The Titans are 8-5 in conference and 10-15 overall. Hawaii is 4-7 and 11-13. Fullerton will travel to Las Vegas Thursday night before closing the regular season March 1 when they play host to UCLA.
Pacific 73, UC Irvine 64--The Anteaters led, 30-27, with six minutes left in the first half but were outscored, 18-0, over the next 9:30 as the Tigers (4-7, 10-14) opened up a 15-point lead. Valerie Dehn led Irvine (5-7, 13-12) with 16 points. UCI plays host to Hawaii at 7:30 Monday.
Fresno Pacific 81, Southern California College 64--Paula Friesen led Fresno with 19 points and Kerrie Webb added 16 points and 10 rebounds at SCC. Fresno is 12-3 in NAIA District III play and 20-7 overall. SCC is 3-12 and 12-17. Gail Brown led SCC with 16 points.
Chapman 72, Cal State Northridge 58--Leone Patterson led the Panthers (7-5, 18-9) with 26 points and 11 rebounds in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. game at Hutton Sports Center in Orange.
