Bisexuality is the subject of “Two Loves,” a TV movie that ABC has ordered about a woman in love with both a man and another woman. Mariette Hartley stars as the widowed mother who finds herself with Barry Newman and Lynn Redgrave. Sada Thompson co-stars as Hartley’s mother.

Katharine Hepburn and Harold Gould play a couple of senior citizens who shock their grown children by falling in love in “Mrs. Delafield Wants to Marry,” a comedy film scheduled for broadcast on CBS March 30. That the characters are a WASP and a Jew only complicates matters. Others in the cast include Denholm Elliott, David Ogden Stiers, Kathryn Walker and Bibi Besch.

Art Carney has made a TV movie that will be syndicated to stations around the country for airing around Easter. It’s called “Miracle of the Heart--A Boys Town Story” and is said to be the first movie filmed at the real Boys Town in Nebraska since 1937. Carney plays a priest whose ways are being challenged by a younger man with a different approach.

Ann Jillian has a dual role in “Stolen Dreams,” a TV movie that’s being produced for NBC. She plays twin sisters who are in love with the same man. Rounding out the cast are Len Cariou, Max Gail, Jessica Walter and James Louis Watkins.

“Oliver Twist” comes to New York City in “The Children of Times Square,” a two-hour TV movie that ABC plans to air March 3. It’s about a group of teen-age drug dealers who work for a Fagin-like older man, played by Howard E. Rollins Jr. Joanna Cassidy plays the mother of one of the young men (Brandon Douglas).

David Copperfield takes his magical prowess to China in an hourlong special that is set for telecast on CBS March 14. Ben Vereen is the guest. Copperfield’s big illusion for this show is a walk through the 25-foot-thick Great Wall of China.
