The more I see of pop videos, the more I realize that your appreciation of them is usually proportional to your opinion of the artist(s) involved. If you just love Hank Jr., you won’t care a whit about the lack of imagination in this presentation, taken from a concert aboard the carrier USS Constellation. But if you’re indifferent to Williams’ blend of rowdiness and sentimentality, there isn’t much to cheer in this routine “party.” Even the normally dynamic Waylon Jennings, in a guest appearance, seems disinterested. 1/2
