Garden Grove : Motorcyclist, 34, Dies After Head-on Collision

A 34-year-old motorcyclist died late Tuesday after his cycle collided head-on with a car in a Garden Grove residential area.

The victim’s name was being withheld pending family notification, Garden Grove Police Sgt. Paul Prince said. He said the car’s 54-year-old driver, whose name was not released, did not suffer injuries and was not cited pending further investigation.

The crash occurred about 6:50 p.m. at Haster Street and Sirius Avenue as the motorcycle crossed into opposing lanes, police said. The victim died four hours later at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana.
