Culver City : Delay of College Ouster Asked
The City Council of Culver City has passed a resolution asking the Los Angeles Community College Board of Trustees to delay ousting M. Jack Fujimoto from the presidency of West Los Angeles College. The delay would allow residents more time to respond.
The college district voted last week to remove Fujimoto, who has led the college since 1979. The college, located in Culver City, has experienced a 44% drop in enrollment since 1982.
