New Guyana Budget

GEORGETOWN, Guyana —
The fiscal 1987 budget for Guyana’s financially troubled government will total $290 million, Finance Minister Carl Greenidge announced.
Greenidge said the government will propose laws that will allow the establishment of offshore banking operations in the former British colony of 800,000 people.
