A Torrance Superior Court jury recommended the death penalty for a 21-year-old Compton man found guilty of murdering a cafeteria night manager at a Los Angeles International Airport terminal. Henry Earl Duncan, who earlier was found guilty of stabbing to death Josephine Eileen DeBaun inside a cafeteria office before fleeing with about $2,000 from a company vault, was ordered by Judge Hiroshi Fujisaki to return to court April 4 for sentencing. Duncan was employed as a cashier at the Host International cafeteria when the crimes occurred in 1984. DeBaun, 28, the mother of twin boys, lived in Redondo Beach.
