USIU Finishes 12th
The United States International University women’s golf team finished 12th Sunday at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Classic in Austin, Tex.
USIU’s team score of 949 over 54 holes was 55 strokes behind tournament champion Tulsa, which finished 21 strokes ahead of runners-up Texas and Florida International. Alison Shapcott, USIU’s leading golfer, was 10 strokes behind champions Martha Foyer of Southern Methodist and LaMar’s Jennifer Wyatt.
