Easter Pets

Easter is coming--a celebration of life renewed. Unfortunately, it also signals the beginning of the end for thousands of bunnies and chicks.

Given as symbols of new life, they all too often end up abandoned at creek sides, in public parks, or on city streets, symbols of our negligence and inhumanity. No longer cute and cuddly, they starve, die of exposure, or fall prey to cruel humans or other animals.

Please, don’t participate in this pointless ritual; don’t buy Easter animals.
