Kaiser, Caltrans Agree on Freeway Beautification
Kaiser Development Co.’s Rancho California Division and the California Department of Transportation have agreed on a joint $1.3-million freeway beautification effort for the 4.8-mile stretch of Interstate 15 that passes through Rancho California.
The first phase, nearly completed, will cost about $1 million, while the $360,000-second phase is planned for completion this fall. Almost 9,000 trees and shrubs will be planted between Temecula Creek and the Interstate 15/Interstate 215 interchange.
