Three Cuban men were arrested and 200 pounds of cocaine valued at more than $56 million on the street was confiscated in raids by Los Angeles police narcotics officers and federal Drug Enforcement Administration agents. Officers said Simon Lazaro, 34, Jose Herrera, 30, and Alex Beoto, 26, were arrested without incident in the Westlake area and held in lieu of $2 million bail each on suspicion of conspiracy to sell narcotics. The cocaine was recovered at a storage facility at 1050 W. Washington Blvd. Police said they also recovered a .45-caliber submachine gun.
