Randolph, USC Win Intercollegiate Titles

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — Sam Randolph, the U.S. Amateur champion, shot a one-under-par 70 Wednesday to win the individual title and lead USC to a first-place finish in the 40th Western Intercollegiate golf tournament at Pasatiempo Country Club.
Randolph’s total of 215 gave him a two-stroke edge over Paul Goydos of Cal State Long Beach.
USC, with 1,104, finished nine strokes ahead of Oregon.
