Garcia Leads Rally as Lazers Win, 7-5

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Poli Garcia’s two goals and three assists led the Los Angeles Lazers to a 7-5 victory over the Kansas City Comets Saturday night in a Major Indoor Soccer League match.
With the Comets leading, 4-3, late in the second quarter, Garcia’s first goal at 13:27 tied the score at 4-4. At 3:21 of the third quarter, his second goal of the night gave the Lazers their first lead, which they never relinquished. Garcia then assisted on the game winner, a power-play goal coming on a scissors kick by Willie Molano.
The Lazers improved to 13-32, while the Comets slipped to 17-29. Both had already been eliminated from the playoffs.
