Canopy From Navy Jet Damages House

TACOMA, Wash. —
The bubble canopy of a Navy jet trainer from Mississippi fell off the plane and crashed into a house, causing $5,000 in damage but no injuries, officials said Monday.
The T-2 Navy trainer made an emergency landing at McChord Air Force Base after the incident Sunday, a base spokeswoman said. Officials said they had no explanation of why the canopy came off.
