A man who went to work clad in camouflage clothing and threw a knife onto a company official’s desk later surrendered without incident when a SWAT team surrounded his apartment, Glendora police said. Rad Wallace, 24, allegedly walked into the Ormco Corp. wearing full “Rambo regalia” and threw a knife onto the desk of a company vice president before leaving, a police spokesman said. A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s SWAT team surrounded Wallace’s apartment at 121 S. Wabash Ave. after his car was spotted outside. Wallace later walked out unarmed and was arrested, police said. Police had begun looking for Wallace after his co-workers at Ormco, at 1308 Lone Hill Ave. in Glendora, reported that he had come to work in Rambo-like military dress and carrying what appeared to be an automatic weapon. Wallace was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. There was no immediate indication of a motive.
