N.Y. Gets Gay Rights Law

NEW YORK —
Mayor Edward I. Koch signed into law Wednesday a homosexual rights bill adopted by the City Council last month after 15 years of debate. The measure bans discrimination based on sexual orientation in employment, housing and public accommodation.
