Ever Hear About Irvine, Scotland?

Everyone in Southern California should have heard of Irvine, but few know it as the only seaside new town in Great Britain.

Allan Caldwell, public relations manager for the Irvine Development Corp. in Irvine, Scotland, means to change that. He is touring the Southland this week through April 25, telling American corporations why they should do business in the Scottish berg. Maudie Baker at Irwin Zucker Public Relations, 6430 Sunset Blvd., in Hollywood is setting up interviews.

“He is articulate and full of anecdotes about Scotland and as a full-blooded member of the Thompson Clan, can appear in full Highland regalia,” literature about Caldwell says.
