Uruguary Wins Soccer Match at San Jose, 2-1

SAN JOSE — Venancio Ramos emerged from a scramble in front of the goal and scored the game-winning shot to give Uruguay’s World Cup team a 2-1 victory over Guadalajara Chivas in an exhibition soccer match Friday night.

Uruguay will meet Mexico’s World Cup team Sunday at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
