Howe Wins First Start for San Jose Bees
Former Dodger pitcher Steve Howe, who never started a game in his major league career, made his debut for the San Jose Bees of the Class A California League as a starter and got the win in San Jose’s 4-1 win over Salinas at San Jose Friday night.
Howe did not allow a run in five innings, striking out three and walking one.
