A 27-year-old San Diego woman jumped to her death early Tuesday evening from the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge, a police spokeswoman said.
The woman, who was not identified pending notification of next of kin, was taken by Life Flight helicopter to UC San Diego Medical Center, where she died at 7:15 p.m., the spokeswoman said.
The woman parked her car on top of the bridge and had jumped before police received an emergency call, the spokesman said.
