The owners of a South Los Angeles liquor store were stabbed to death during an apparent robbery as the couple opened the store, police said. The victims were Jung Keun Chong, and his wife, Jung Ran Chong, both 47, of Culver City. A passer-by reported seeing two men in their early 20s, both wearing dark clothing, running east on 60th Street immediately after the attack at Guy’s Liquor Store, 5972 S. Normandie Ave., Detective Paul Mize said. It was not immediately known if anything was taken from the store. The Chongs, who owned the store for about two years, leave four children, Mize said.
