It may not be the Super Bowl, but the spirit of competition will be just as high.

Members of the Fullerton and Buena Park fire departments will take on members of the Anaheim police and fire departments Saturday in a charity football game to raise funds for four area organizations.

The event will be held at Buena Park High School Stadium in Buena Park beginning at 7 p.m., and will include half-time entertainment. John Robinson, head coach of the Los Angeles Rams, will serve as honorary chairman of the game.

Tickets are $5 each, with children under 10 admitted free. Advance tickets will be sold at either of the fire departments or the police station participating in the game. Tickets also will be sold at the gate.

A post-game dance and buffet immediately following the gridiron activities will be held at the Disneyland Hotel, 1150 W. Cerritos Ave., Anaheim. A $5 cover charge will be required.

Proceeds from both events will be distributed among four organizations: the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, the Muscular Dystrophy Assn., the Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Centers and the Orphan’s Fund of the Anaheim Police Officers’ Assn.
