UCLA, Pepperdine in NCAA Volleyball Matches

UCLA, ranked second nationally, and Pepperdine, ranked third, play tonight in the West Regional of the NCAA men’s volleyball tournament at Loyola Marymount.

UCLA, 27-8 and top seeded in the regional, plays Stanford at 6 p.m. Defending NCAA champion Pepperdine (18-7) meets Hawaii at 8 p.m.

Winners advance to the regional championship Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The West Regional champion is expected to receive the at-large berth in the Final Four, to be held May 2-3 at Penn State. No. 1 USC, Penn State and Ohio State have clinched berths in the Final Four.
